Waste of Paste
Shawn Miller is the artist behind Waste of Paste, a collection of analog collages. The Kansas city native moved to Houston in 2015 and got to know the city through visits to local businesses, particularly antique stores. While his background is in photography and drawing, he was inspired to collage by the treasure-trove of ephemera available locally. Shawn's current collection is heavily influenced by American advertisements from the 1930s to the 1970s. He hopes to inspire others to pick up some scissors and paste and create.
