Mauve Moon Studio
Born and raised in Houston, I grew up surrounded by people who loved to create. During the summer my siblings and I would spend the day at my grandmas house where her and my aunt taught me to sew and crochet which I still enjoy when I have the time.
Our house was attached to my parents business which was an auto shop, so I always had lots of tools at my disposal. Like my dad, I've always loved working with my hands and creating things from the ground up. He now restores classic cars and from time to time I work with him on the large metal beasts, but my passion lies in small metal works. All of my jewelry starts from simple sterling silver sheet and wire and is hand sawn, torched, filed, and shaped into one of a kind pieces.
