Vivienne Dang
Hello! I'm a Multimedia Designer who enjoys illustrating in her free time. I currently reside in Houston, TX, with my husband and 2 kids. I have a BFA in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Houston and have been designing professionally for more than 12 years. In my full time job, I'm the Lead Senior Multimedia Designer & Content Developer who creates mostly digital work and build custom training content. I continue to receive training throughout my career and my latest focus is around 3D, augmented reality and virtual reality design! I consider myself a creator as I love to draw and create things and I enjoy experimenting with different art forms; whether it is traditional or digital. I hope to share my joy of illustrating with people through my artwork.
I really love that our booth fees are donated directly to Hoof Prints and Heart Beats and I’ll be able to contribute towards such an amazing cause. I always look for ways that my art can help the community as that’s really important to me. Two organizations that I’ve been contributing art to are The Center for Hearing and Speech (Via Colori) and Artist Boat. I’ve been a volunteer artist at Via Colori for 5 years now. It is a live chalk art street painting festival and I create street murals that are 10 feet x 10 feet large. The event that I do with Artist Boat allows me to paint rain barrels that are used to encourage people on the beach to distribute their trash properly. In return, this helps out many local ecosystems.
