Caroline Truong
Hello, I’m Caroline. I’m a Vietnamese American. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I’m an artist, dog mom, and have a little son as well. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education from the University of Houston, I taught art in public schools for a few years. Then I decided to be a freelance artist to focus on my own craft. My primary choice of medium is acrylic paint and black pen ink.
Whenever I paint, I feel a sense of liberation because I can create anything I want and be who I want instead of trying to fulfill someone else's expectations. Making a living as an artist is my American Dream.
When someone is able to relate to my artwork, it makes me feel like I’m not alone. This is why I continue creating and sharing. We're all just humans trying to make it through life. I believe art is one beautiful way of sharing the human experience together.
