Jamie Spinello
Jamie Spinello creates wearable art and sculptures inspired by structures of plants and insects. She merges her love for creating complex works of art with her interest in mythologies of plants, the history of their uses, their growth patterns as well as the insects that depend upon them. She utilizes hand fabricating metalwork and lost wax casting techniques to create her art in her Austin, TX studio. Her recent work focuses on celebrating native central Texas plants.
